Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc., which provides the ecommerce platform that allows us to sell our products to you.
1. About these Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to all visitors, customers and users of bunnymansions.com (the "Site") and to all purchases of our products and services (the "Services").
By visiting the Site or buying from us, you agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy and any other policies referenced here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always available on this page, with the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of the Site after we post an update means you accept the updated Terms. For material changes that affect your rights, we will give you reasonable advance notice where appropriate.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes your statutory consumer rights under Dutch law, including your right to a product that conforms to the contract (Boek 7 BW), your right of withdrawal (Boek 6 BW Art. 230o) and your rights under unfair commercial practices law.
2. Who can use the Site
You must be at least 18 years old to make purchases on bunnymansions.com.
You agree not to:

Use the Site or our products for any unlawful or unauthorised purpose;

Violate any laws in your jurisdiction, including intellectual property laws;

Transmit viruses, malware or any code of a destructive nature;

Collect, scrape or track the personal information of other users;

Spam, phish, or otherwise misuse the Site or our communication channels;

Harass, abuse, threaten or discriminate against anyone based on gender, sexual orientation, religion, ethnicity, race, age, national origin or disability;

Submit false or misleading information.
We reserve the right to refuse service or cancel an order if we reasonably believe these Terms have been breached.
3. When a contract is formed
When you place an order on the Site, you are making an offer to buy. A binding contract is formed only when we send you the order confirmation by email, not when you click "Order."
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order before confirmation, for example if:

The product is out of stock;

There is a clear pricing or product error (such as a €499 product shown as €4.99);

We cannot verify the payment or shipping information you provided.
If we cancel after payment, we will refund you in full within 14 days.
4. Prices, payment and shipping
4.1 Prices
All prices on the Site are in euros (€) and include applicable VAT, unless stated otherwise.
We may change prices at any time. The price that applies to your order is the price shown on the Site at the time you place your order.
4.2 Payment
You can pay using the payment methods shown at checkout. Your payment must be completed before we ship your order.
4.3 Shipping
We ship to the Netherlands and Belgium through our standard checkout, and to other EU countries where available. We also ship worldwide on request.
Standard shipping (checkout)

Netherlands: Free shipping on orders over €85. Orders under €85 are charged a flat shipping fee shown at checkout.

Belgium: Free shipping on orders over €95. Orders under €95 are charged a flat shipping fee shown at checkout.

Other available countries: Shipping is calculated automatically at checkout based on destination and order weight.
Worldwide shipping on request For destinations outside our standard shipping zones, we ship on a quote basis. Please email info@bunnymansions.nl with your full delivery address and the products you would like to order. We will reply with a shipping quote, estimated delivery time and any other relevant information. Your order is only confirmed once you have approved the quote and completed payment.
Customs, duties and import taxes For shipments outside the European Union, you are responsible for any customs duties, import VAT, clearance fees or other charges levied by the destination country. These are not included in the product price or shipping cost shown at checkout, and they vary by country. We recommend checking your local customs rules before ordering.
If a package is refused or returned because customs charges are not paid, you remain responsible for the original shipping cost and any return shipping costs. Any refund will be reduced accordingly.
Delivery times Estimated delivery times are shown at checkout or in your shipping quote. Delivery times for international and worldwide shipments are estimates and may be significantly longer due to carrier handling, customs clearance, or local conditions. We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers or customs, but we will help you track and resolve issues where reasonably possible.
Currency All prices on the Site are in euros (€). If you pay in another currency, your bank or card provider will apply its own exchange rate and may charge a foreign transaction fee. These costs are not included in the order total.
5. Right of withdrawal and returns
5.1 Your statutory 14-day right of withdrawal
Under Dutch and EU consumer law, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order, without giving any reason.
To exercise this right:

Notify us within 14 days of receiving your order by emailing info@bunnymansions.nl with the subject line "Withdrawal." You can also use the Model Withdrawal Form at the bottom of these Terms.

Return the product to us within 14 days of your notification.

Once we receive the returned product (or proof that you have returned it), we will refund you within 14 days using the same payment method you used for the order.
You pay the return shipping costs. Refunds are for the product price; if you chose a more expensive shipping option than our standard, we will refund only the cost of standard shipping.
5.2 Handling the product during the 14-day window
During the 14-day withdrawal period, you may unpack and inspect the product as you would in a shop — meaning you can look at it, check its features and confirm its nature.
If you handle the product beyond what is necessary to inspect it, we may reduce your refund to reflect any loss in value. Examples of handling that may reduce your refund:

The product shows signs of use (scratches, marks, wear);

The product has been chewed or damaged by a rabbit;
-
The product has been assembled and partially used in a setup;
-
Parts, accessories or original packaging are missing;
-
The product is no longer in a condition to be resold as new.
In serious cases, the loss in value may reduce the refund significantly, in some cases close to zero. We will document any reduction with photos and explain the deduction before processing the refund.
This does not remove your right to withdraw — it only affects the refund amount. You always retain your statutory right to return within 14 days.
5.3 Our voluntary 30-day return policy
On top of your statutory 14-day right, we voluntarily offer an extended return window of 30 days from the day you receive your order. This is goodwill, not a legal requirement, and the following conditions apply to returns made between day 15 and day 30:

The product must be unused and unchewed;

The product must be returned in the same condition as you received it;

The product must be well packaged to prevent damage in transit;
-
All original parts, accessories and packaging must be included;
-
The customer pays the return shipping costs.
If a returned product does not meet these conditions, we may refuse the return or reduce the refund to reflect the loss in value. We will tell you before processing.
5.4 How to return
Email info@bunnymansions.nl before sending anything back. We will confirm the return address and give you any instructions specific to your product.
5.5 Products excluded from withdrawal
The statutory right of withdrawal does not apply to:
-
Products made to your specifications or clearly personalised;
-
Products that are sealed for hygiene reasons and have been unsealed after delivery (for example, certain bedding items);
-
Products that, by their nature, are inseparably mixed with other items after delivery (for example, hay that has been opened and mixed with existing supply, or opened herbs).
We will tell you at the time of purchase if any product falls under these exceptions.
6. Damaged or defective deliveries
6.1 Notify us within 5 days
If your package arrives with visible damage to the box or the product, please notify us as soon as possible, and in any case within 5 days of receiving the package, by emailing info@bunnymansions.nl with photos.
This 5-day window is operationally important: our shipping insurance only allows us 7 days to file a claim with the carrier. If you notify us after 5 days, we may no longer be able to recover the cost from the carrier, but we will still help you to the best of our ability.
6.2 Your statutory rights are not affected
The 5-day notification window above applies only to shipping damage claims handled through the carrier's insurance. It does not affect your statutory rights under Dutch consumer law (Boek 7 BW Art. 17 and following) to a product that conforms to the contract.
If a product turns out to be defective, does not match its description, or is otherwise not as expected, you can contact us within a reasonable time after discovering the problem. We will work with you to repair, replace or refund the product, in line with your statutory rights.
7. Product information
We make every reasonable effort to describe and display our products accurately, including dimensions, materials and colours. However:

Colours may appear differently on different screens. We cannot guarantee that the colour shown on your device perfectly matches the actual product.

Product descriptions and images are for general guidance and may be updated.

Care and use information shared by Bunny Mansions is based on our experience and research with rabbits. It is general guidance and not veterinary advice. If your rabbit has health concerns, please consult a veterinarian.
We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions in product information at any time.
8. Complaints and dispute resolution
8.1 Contact us first
If you have a complaint about a product or our service, please contact us first at info@bunnymansions.nl. We will respond within a reasonable time and do our best to resolve the issue together.
8.2 WebwinkelKeur mediation
Bunny Mansions B.V. is a member of WebwinkelKeur. If we cannot resolve your complaint together, you may contact WebwinkelKeur, which will mediate free of charge: www.webwinkelkeur.nl

8.3 WebwinkelKeur Disputes Committee
If mediation does not resolve the complaint, you have the option to have your complaint handled by the independent disputes committee appointed by WebwinkelKeur. The decision of this disputes committee is binding on both you and Bunny Mansions B.V. There are costs associated with submitting a dispute to the committee, which are paid by the consumer to the committee.
8.4 EU Online Dispute Resolution platform
EU consumers can also submit complaints through the European Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform: ec.europa.eu/odr
8.5 Court
You always retain the right to bring a dispute before the competent court in the Netherlands.
9. Force majeure
We are not responsible for failure or delay in performing our obligations if the cause is beyond our reasonable control. This includes (without limitation): natural disasters, pandemics, war, civil unrest, government measures, supplier failures, carrier or customs delays, postal strikes, energy or internet outages, and cyber attacks.
If a force majeure event prevents or significantly delays delivery of your order, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible and discuss the options, which may include a delayed delivery or a refund.
10. Intellectual property
10.1 Our content
All content on bunnymansions.com — including text, images, photography, logos, trademarks, branding, product designs and the Bunny Mansion™ name — is owned by Bunny Mansions B.V. or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property law.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, sell or commercially exploit any of this content without our prior written permission.
10.2 Reviews and user content
If you submit a review, photo, video or other content to us — for example through Judge.me, by email, by tagging us on social media, or by uploading content to the Site — you grant Bunny Mansions B.V. a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, display, reproduce and adapt that content for our marketing, advertising and product communications, with appropriate credit where reasonable.
You confirm that you own the content you submit, or have the right to share it, and that it does not infringe anyone's rights.
We may, at our discretion, remove any user content that is unlawful, offensive, misleading or in breach of these Terms.
11. Third-party tools and links
The Site may contain links to third-party websites, services or platforms that are not operated by us. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, practices or policies of third-party sites.
We may also provide access to third-party tools or features (such as review widgets or chat). We provide these "as is" and are not liable for issues arising from their use. Please read the third party's terms before using such tools.
12. Liability
12.1 What we are responsible for
We are responsible for delivering products that conform to the contract and meet your reasonable expectations as a consumer under Dutch law.
12.2 What we are not responsible for
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

Indirect or consequential damages such as lost profits, lost data or lost opportunities;

Damage caused by your misuse of a product or failure to follow product care instructions;

Delays or failures caused by force majeure (see section 9);

Issues with third-party websites or tools accessed through our Site.
12.3 Liability cap
Where our liability cannot be excluded by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to a purchase is limited to the price you paid for the product(s) giving rise to the claim, except where the law requires otherwise.
12.4 Statutory rights are protected
Nothing in this section limits or excludes:

Liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or defective products;

Liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;

Liability for gross negligence or intentional misconduct;

Your statutory consumer rights under Dutch law.
13. Privacy and personal data
Your submission of personal information through the Site is governed by our Privacy Policy, available at: bunnymansions.com/policies/privacy-policy
We retain order, invoice and payment data for 7 years to comply with Dutch tax and accounting law. Other retention periods are described in the Privacy Policy.
14. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site if you breach these Terms or if we reasonably suspect misuse.
You may stop using the Site at any time. Your obligations and our obligations that arose before termination — such as paying for an order placed and shipped, or honouring a return — survive termination.
15. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, void or unenforceable, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, or severed from these Terms. The remaining provisions stay in full force.
16. Entire agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other policies posted on the Site, form the entire agreement between you and Bunny Mansions B.V. about your use of the Site and any purchase.
Our failure to enforce a provision of these Terms does not waive our right to enforce it later.
17. Governing law
These Terms and any contract formed under them are governed by Dutch law. Disputes will be brought before the competent court in the Netherlands, subject to any mandatory consumer protection rules that allow you to bring proceedings in your country of residence.

These Terms of Service are available in English and Dutch. In case of any discrepancy, the Dutch version prevails for customers based in the Netherlands.
